UK Flight not Pass Swiss Immigration/Customs
Question:
On arrival on Easy jet from UK can I collect my baggage and exit in the French sector without
passing through Swiss immigration/customs etc or must I get my bags cleared in the Swiss sector then enter the French sector? Also I note you say that there is no check in desk for Easy jet in the French sector so if I am correct you MUST go through Swiss immigration to board an Easy jet flight? Thanks for your help

It looks like things have changed as Switzerland is now part of the Schengen area. You now have to pass through Swiss immigrations unless you arrive from a French airport.
I'm not 100% sure about easyJet not having a check in desk in the French sector. From looking at the official airport web site it looks like they don't. When passing from the French sector to the Swiss side I'm not sure you pass though Swiss immigration/customs.
