Geneva Airport to Grenoble

I plan to arrive at Geneva airport on Swiss and wish to travel from Geneva to Grenoble by rail. Can you tell me what I need to do at Geneva airport to get a train to Grenoble? Do I need for example to change trains in Geneva to get on the French rail system.

You'll need to get from the airport to Eaux Vives station in Geneva and from there you can get a train to Grenoble. This thread explains how to go from the airport to Eaux Vives. There's no direct transportation other than taxi.
Another possibility is going to Annecy and taking a train from there. This Q & A tells how.
I suggest you check the train schedule as I don't believe there are many trains per day. Have a look at Rail Europe.
